Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavior Consultant to join our team at Positive Progression. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, facilitate individual therapies, and create personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional with a Master's degree in social work, psychology, special education, or ABA to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intakes and assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Create customized treatment plans tailored to each client's requirements, ensuring seamless progress towards their goals.
  • Facilitate positive reinforcement-based therapies, fostering growth and improvement in clients' behavior and overall well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient information and treatment progress, adhering to facility and licensing standards.
  • Provide regular in-person treatments, delivering high-quality care and support to clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Possession of a Master's degree in counseling, social work, special education, psychology, ABA, or a related field.
  • A clean background check, demonstrating a commitment to working with vulnerable populations.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, showcasing expertise and compassion.
  • CPR certification, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
