Job Description

The Sales Associate role at LensCrafters is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales targets. This position plays a critical part in establishing LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver sales results and meet company objectives through effective customer relationship-building and sales techniques.
  2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
  3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping customers choose the perfect vision solution.
  4. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
  5. Maintain a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  6. Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
  7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills
  • Embracing new technology and change with high accuracy
  • Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Self-motivation with demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $16.00 and $21.42 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, you may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, complementing a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
