Your mission will be to create strategic pathways for migrating traditional IT systems to cloud-based solutions, ensuring they are equipped to tackle their most pressing challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of architectural blueprints that facilitate the transition from on-premises systems to cloud environments.
- Collaborate with a team of cloud specialists to design and implement solutions utilizing platforms such as Office 365 and Azure.
- Guide clients in formulating cloud adoption strategies, encompassing application design and management practices.
- Oversee the architecture of applications, ensuring that all requirements are meticulously documented and deployment specifications are adhered to within the cloud ecosystem.
- Ensure that cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in creating architectural designs for cloud migration.
- At least 5 years of experience in promoting cloud adoption and managing the associated cultural shifts.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing cloud management and monitoring frameworks.
- Experience in evaluating and recommending resource mappings for both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud edge technologies, including Azure Stack.
- Possession of a Secret clearance is mandatory.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate Certification is preferred.
- IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+ CE, Windows OS, or CCNA Certification is required.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
