Commercial and Residential Waste Collector

Job OverviewAs a key member of our operations team, the Residential and Commercial Driver will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection and transportation of waste throughout Sonoma County.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trash trucks to collect and transport waste as scheduled, adhering to all traffic and waste management laws.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, noting any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and disposal activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer concerns on the route.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, participating in safety trainings as required.

Requirements

• Valid Class-B CDL and Medical Card required.
• Previous experience in commercial driving preferred.
• Excellent driving skills and familiarity with local streets and routes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pulling, pushing, bending, and lifting.
