The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support large-scale machine learning systems. They will take offline models built by data scientists and turn them into real-world machine learning production systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support large-scale machine learning systems
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor machine learning models in classified and unclassified test and production environments
  • Develop and deploy scalable tools and services to handle machine learning training and inference tasks
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance the performance, maintainability, and reliability of machine learning systems
  • Apply software engineering best practices to machine learning, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automation, etc.
  • Support model development with a focus on auditability, versioning, and data security
  • Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems
  • Automate the deployment and scaling of machine learning models in production
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and accuracy of machine learning models in production
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for machine learning models
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective machine learning model deployment and operation
  • Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of machine learning models and related data
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Must hold a TOP SECRET//SCI with counterintelligence polygraph
  • Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, this position requires U.S. citizenship
Salary Range:

$200,000 - $250,000 per year
