Talent Relations & Development Attorney

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our Talent Relations & Development team. As a key member of our business and legal affairs team, you will be responsible for negotiating and drafting agreements related to talent, including talent booking contracts, merchandise agreements, and talent appearance agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and draft agreements with talent agencies, managers, and lawyers.
  • Counsel in-house business units on legal issues related to talent, including sponsorships, production, licensing, and live events.
  • Review and approve talent third-party appearance contracts for execution by management.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and industry trends in the entertainment sector.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing lawyer negotiating and drafting agreements related to talent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of television industry agreements, guild and union regulations, and contract law.
  • Strong negotiating, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise independent judgment.
  • Law degree from a U.S.-based law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
