Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg Hospitalist team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyzing data to create a plan of care and implementing treatment plans.
  • Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to state and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care delivery, serving as a point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments.
  • Act as a patient safety advocate, participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives in the department.
  • Apply the nursing process in patient care delivery, incorporating professional practice models into care delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid nursing license from the state of practice.
  • Associate of Nursing, nursing (required) or Diploma in Nursing (required).
  • BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (required at hire).
