About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trial Attorney to join our team at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. As a Trial Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures
- Utilize outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills
- Manage a busy and time-sensitive caseload independently
- Work in a hybrid role, with a combination of in-office and remote work
Requirements:
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in New York and membership in good standing with the state bar
- 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
- Experience working in a paperless environment
- Ability to direct support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
- Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
What We Offer:
- Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience)
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
