Med Tech Contract Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Technologist to join our team on a contract basis.

This is a full-time position located in Port Townsend, Washington, offering competitive compensation, benefits, and a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including blood draws, specimen collection, and other tests as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Utilize medical equipment and technology accurately and safely.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Observe and respond to patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Provide education to patients on medical procedures, illnesses, and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Washington Certified Medication Tech required.
  • COVID Vaccinated.
  • BLS Certification (Preferred).
  • Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening.
