Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

About the Role

This is a 0.9 FTE, night shift position (7pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends, offering a competitive salary of $48.32 - $66.65 per hour.

About the Team

As a member of our Orthopedic Surgery Unit, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support our mission of delivering world-class health with human connection.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to hospital policies and regulations

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least one year of experience in nursing, preferably in orthopedic surgery or a related field
