Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges. You will help them achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
  • Help individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.

Requirements

  • No experience required.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
