Job Title: Employment Case Manager

ACCULTURATION FOR JUSTICE ACCESS & P is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Case Manager to join our team. As an Employment Case Manager, you will play a critical role in assisting refugees and immigrants in achieving economic self-sufficiency through employment.

Job Summary:

The Employment Case Manager will work closely with consumers to develop personalized service plans, provide job readiness counseling, and assist with job search and application processes. You will also provide public transportation orientation and assist with onboarding services for both consumers and employers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake sessions with employable adult consumers to assess their employment needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized service plans to help consumers achieve economic self-sufficiency.
  • Provide job readiness counseling, including resume development and interview preparation.
  • Assist consumers with job search and application processes, including public transportation orientation.
  • Collaborate with employers to facilitate onboarding services and ensure a smooth transition for consumers.
  • Track employment performance and document consumer activities through case notes.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on employment services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work or humanities.
  • Previous experience working with refugee or immigrant communities, preferably in a case management or employment services role.
  • Strong understanding of issues affecting refugees and immigrants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with consumers, staff, and partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.

  • $21.50/hour (37.5 hours/week)
