Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with our fleet vehicles, including medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, convertor dollies, and maintenance vehicles. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with fleet vehicles, including medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, convertor dollies, and maintenance vehicles.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
  3. Ensure that all fleet vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
  4. Train and provide guidance to other mechanics as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
  • A strong understanding of complex mechanical systems and diagnostic techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
