Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Homelessness Specialist to join our team at Shelterhouse. As a Homelessness Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness to achieve stable housing and independence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management, social work, or a related field and be able to provide support and guidance to clients as they navigate the journey to stable housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized service plans.
  • Connect clients with essential services such as mental health treatment, substance abuse counseling, and employment assistance.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor progress and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with community partners to facilitate referrals and ensure seamless delivery of services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in case management, social work, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
