Job Summary: As a Meat Cutter at Jewel-Osco, you will be responsible for preparing meat for sale by cutting, trimming, chopping, grinding, and otherwise processing it. You will also operate machinery such as saws and grinders, inspect and sort meat products, and ensure that displayed products are fresh and not expired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meat in salable sizes and condition for wrapping and display
- Cut, trim, chop, grind, and otherwise prepare meats
- Operate saws, grinders, and other meat processing machinery
- Inspect and sort meat products
