Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their individual needs and develop a plan of care that addresses their specific requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurses, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient progress and independence.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification, with ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months, highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
