Cytotechnologist Specialist

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Gainesville, FL.

This is a DAY shift position offering a competitive salary range of $26-$34 per hour and the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Perform microscopic examination of cellular samples, including Pap smears, to identify abnormalities and potential signs of disease.
• Utilize advanced laboratory equipment and technology to analyze cell specimens.
• Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results.
• Adhere to quality control and quality assurance standards to ensure the reliability of test results.
• Stay abreast of advancements in cytology and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
• Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Florida State license in Medical Lab Science
• Previous experience as a Cytotechnologist is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
