About the Role:

The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's real estate portfolio. This involves working closely with third-party property managers, brokers, and internal teams to drive performance across assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio performance and maximize returns.
  • Oversee third-party property managers and conduct property inspections, requiring occasional travel.
  • Analyze financials at the property and portfolio levels, including budgeting, cash flow, and income statements.
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements and manage asset performance to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare financial models and investment analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify asset enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage retail lease negotiations, vendor contracts, and other operational agreements.
  • Collaborate with the acquisition and development teams on potential new projects.
  • Provide regular performance reports to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in real estate (Asset Management, Acquisitions, Underwriting, or Property Management).
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
