Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AI Operator at Smithfield Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our cook and chill system, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the Amour Innox cook and chill system, including cook tanks, conveyors, cranes, molds, and sensors.
  • Monitor and control the cooking process, ensuring that products meet our quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and computer controls.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
