Position Overview

The Mixologist is knowledgeable about and adheres to alcohol service regulations. They craft alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while engaging with patrons, serving food as needed. The Mixologist ensures a tidy and sanitized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares beverages according to established recipes, including garnishing drinks as required.
  • Serves guests promptly, verifying identification, processing payments, and addressing any inquiries.
  • Maintains cleanliness by regularly cleaning bar surfaces, furniture, and equipment, and returning used dishware to the kitchen.
  • Manages inventory by restocking spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients, as well as replacing beer kegs.
  • Balances the bar's cash register at the conclusion of each shift.
Position Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in bartending.
  • Certification to serve alcohol.
  • CPR/AED certification is required within the first month of employment.
  • Capability to frequently bend and lift items weighing over 20 lbs.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and navigate the Cafe for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in inventory management and ordering processes.
