About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Recreational Therapist Intern to join our team at Foundations for Living. As a Recreational Therapist Intern, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic recreation services to our patients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Lead group recreation activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and sports, to promote socialization and skill-building
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Assist with program development and evaluation to ensure high-quality services
Qualifications
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
