We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping patients regain functional capabilities and independence in their daily lives.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources to support patients and their families.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
- Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job, including moving, lifting, or transferring patients.
