Job Description

Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing industry-leading solutions for Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs. You will work closely with our infrastructure automation team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Work closely with architects and process owners to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation scripts and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with coding in Ansible, Terraform, Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
  • Strong development lifecycle software development experience.
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and requirements in a fast-paced setting on multiple projects.
  • Ability to establish strong team relationships, self-manage work, and deliver exceptional customer products.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat, Windows, AWS, and Azure.
  • Experience with container-based development.
  • Good containerization and orchestration knowledge with Docker and Podman.
  • Practical experience with DevOps/GitOps.
  • Strong Gitlab pipeline experience.
  • Experience developing, testing, and deploying software on multitenant cloud and VMWare.
  • Experience developing microservices.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position is $89,600 - $171,800.
