We are seeking an exceptional Technical Robotics and Perception Specialist to join our Hardware R&D organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced perception algorithms for our robotic systems, particularly Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science, robotics, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in implementing perception algorithms and computer vision solutions. Proficiency in Python and C++ is essential, as well as hands-on experience with prototyping and building proof-of-concepts. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize perception algorithms for robotic systems, focusing on AGVs
  • Develop and apply computer vision algorithms using traditional and deep learning-based approaches
  • Prototype and build proof-of-concepts for innovative robotics and perception solutions
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and software engineers in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Contribute to the integration of various sensors, including LIDAR, camera, radar, laser range sensor, and IR time-of-flight sensors, into our robotic systems

We offer a competitive salary of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. This figure includes up to 20% bonus potential.
