**Job Title:** Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description:

This role provides general accounting services, including billing, issuing credit memos, and managing department emails. The specialist will also assist in various accounting projects and coordinate with other departments as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare invoices for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Email Management: Manage and monitor departmental email inboxes, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Credit Memo and Invoice Processing: Prepare credit memos and invoices for credits and rebills, maintaining accurate records and communicating with customers effectively.
  • Third-Party Integration: Upload invoices to third-party portals, streamlining the payment process and improving cash flow.
  • Backup Support: Serve as primary backup for drop ship billing and receptionist duties, providing seamless support during absences or high volumes.
  • Accounting Projects: Participate in various accounting projects, utilizing expertise to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Additional Support: Assist in other areas of the office as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior accounting experience preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proven computer skills, including accounting software (Oracle) and Excel, are essential.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective customer relations and teamwork.
  • Team Player: Confirmed team player with good superior and peer relationship skills, able to work collaboratively towards common goals.
  • Customer Relations: Successful record of effective customer relations skills, maintaining positive relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude towards work and demonstrated belief in continuous improvement.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
