Caseload: K-12

Compensation: $40-45/hour + Benefits

Soliant is looking for a committed Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide educational support for students with hearing impairments. This full-time, itinerant role involves working across various educational institutions to facilitate learning for students in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and assistance to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to promote student achievement.
  • Evaluate and track student progress regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Valid certification as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Oregon.
  • Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
