Your Responsibilities
Position Summary

Drive profitable sales within a designated geographical territory by nurturing and developing customer relationships, with a focus on major and target accounts. Analyze and address customer issues and inquiries, while educating potential clients about our company’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key decision-makers at existing and prospective clients and cultivate strong working relationships.
  • Formulate a strategic market plan for your territory, establishing measurable goals and objectives supported by actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with inside sales on special accounts and projects as needed.
  • Assist credit managers when required.
  • Schedule and conduct sales calls and visits.
  • Estimate customer product usage and business unit participation.
  • Facilitate training sessions on products and services for both customers and internal teams.
  • Monitor pricing deviations and report significant trends to management.
  • Communicate customer product and quality requirements to inside sales and operations teams.
  • Recommend updates to the product catalog and company services.
  • Initiate and oversee inventory requirements.
  • Provide insights on current and potential advertising strategies.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of company products, services, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain and update the customer database regularly.
  • Review daily sales and customer interactions for follow-up and appreciation.

This role involves direct engagement with motor vehicle equipment and is classified as 'safety sensitive' under applicable regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • One year of public/customer interaction experience.
  • One year of sales experience.
  • Strong safety mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion or progress towards a four-year degree in sales, business, or marketing.
  • Three to five years of sales experience.
  • Background in metallurgy training or experience.
  • Experience in public speaking.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
