AWS Systems Development Specialist - A Role That Delivers

At Top Secret Clearance Jobs, we are passionate about helping those with top secret clearance find their next career opportunity. We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Systems Development Specialist who can collaborate with other teams to deliver cutting-edge services for our customers.

As an AWS Systems Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying operational tools to automate processes and reduce operational overhead. This is a true DevOps role where you will be both allowed and expected to follow problems all the way to the end and work on implementing real solutions, not just quick fixes.

The candidate should be familiar with Linux, including various distros and their corresponding package management tools, permissions and permissions management, system logging and auditing, log parsing using grep, awk, sed, cut, tr, etc.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

What You Will Do:
  1. Develop and deploy operational tools to automate processes and reduce operational overhead
  2. Work with other engineers to build and manage massively scaled services
  3. Work with other engineers to diagnose and resolve customer issues
  4. Track the health of our services, identify and fix problems on complex systems with massive scale
  5. Collaborate with some of the leading minds in distributed systems
