Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Orthopedic Inpatient team at Central Maine Medical Center. This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position on the night shift.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care, emotional support, and perform more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.
  • Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patient's family.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required.
  • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required.
  • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
