Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assist the endodontist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.">
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.">
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment, explaining procedures and answering any questions to alleviate concerns.">
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the endodontist.">
  • Perform dental charting and record patient information accurately in electronic health records.">
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, anticipating the endodontist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.">
  • Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.">
  • Manage inventory and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure seamless workflow.">
  • Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.">
  • Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

Education: A diploma or certificate in dental assisting or a related field.

">

Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an endodontic setting.

">

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and basic computer skills.

">

Certifications: Current certification in CPR and Basic Life Support, and willingness to obtain specialized certifications in endodontic assisting if required.

">

Work Environment: This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
