Job Summary

The Director of Quality and Compliance will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. This includes conducting and implementing work plans, systems, processes, and policies to maintain licensure, insurance, accreditation, and certification agency compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management and compliance processes to ensure a culture of compliance and safety.
  • Coordinate regulatory activities, including licensure, certification, and accreditation, and serve as a liaison to regulatory agencies.
  • Lead a team of quality management professionals in hiring, orienting, performance assessment, and management to meet department goals.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address areas of compliance vulnerability.
  • Collect and provide data for compliance requests, dashboards, and scorecards, and prepare and submit accurate and comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee the coordination of internal and external governmental compliance and privacy investigations or reimbursement reviews.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans and tools to improve client safety and quality of care.
  • Conduct routine evaluations of the effectiveness of services and ensure correction of any observed deficiencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Human Services field required; Master's Degree in Human Services preferred.
  • Three or more years' experience in Quality Management, PI role, facility licensure, survey, and credentialing process required.
  • Experience with TJC and/or CARF accreditation and regulatory audits preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance.
  • Professional clinical license issued by the appropriate licensing body as required by the state.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required.
