Financial Operations Associate for Payroll and Accounting

We're seeking an organized, detail-driven professional to manage our dealership's financial operations. As a Payroll and Accounting Clerk, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that require strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for our employees, ensuring timely payments and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Time and Attendance Management: Monitor and manage employee time and attendance records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase productivity.
  • Benefits Enrollment: Assist employees with enrolling in benefits, providing clear guidance on available options and ensuring timely processing.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, resolving discrepancies and communicating with vendors as needed.
  • Monthly Closing Activities: Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Requirements:

  • Payroll Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in an automotive dealership or related industry.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dealership Accounting Experience: Previous experience in dealership accounting, preferably with Reynolds and Reynolds system.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with ability to apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: From $23.00 per hour + (based on experience).
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, disability insurance, flexible schedule, flexible spending account, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and vision insurance.

Schedule:

  • Shift: 8-hour day shift.
  • Days: Monday to Friday.

Experience:

  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred).
  • Payroll Processing: 1-2 years.
