This is a professional-level Physical Therapist position with weekend and holiday requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating patient disabilities, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments.
Responsibilities- Select and perform appropriate Physical Therapy (PT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems.
- Set treatment goals and devise a treatment plan, re-evaluating and adjusting as needed.
- Manage resources needed to perform PT treatment plans and accomplish goals.
- Complete PT documentation in the medical record and department records for billing and statistics.
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching for PT students or staff, planning orientation, caseload, and other learning activities.
- Plan and coordinate clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations, and reimbursement.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System. This is not a State employed position.
