Job Description

Friedrich Watkins of Tampa, LLC is a Commercial Contractor offering General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design-Build Services in the Greater Tampa Bay market. We are looking for a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to work on various projects, including healthcare, life science/laboratories, hospitality, university/institutional, sports and entertainment, theme parks and themed environments, restaurant and food service, automotive, solar/sustainable energy, and data centers.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all aspects of field operations, including planning, coordination, direction, and supervision of subcontractor activities.
  2. Prepare project schedules and track on-site activities to ensure timely completion.
  3. Maintain accurate records of labor, material, and equipment costs, and work with the project manager to make purchasing decisions that meet budget requirements.
  4. Ensure site safety by conducting regular inspections and enforcing OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably as a superintendent or project manager.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Proficient in MS-Office, Project, and other construction-related software.

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package. The company offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
