We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to a couple in their residence. This role involves following a comprehensive care plan tailored to meet the specific needs of the individuals in a comfortable home environment. We appreciate caregivers who demonstrate empathy and commitment, ensuring personalized care while building meaningful relationships with those they assist. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a nurturing approach are vital for success in this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also important. Previous experience in home health or hospice care is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including mobility assistance
- Support personal care needs, including housekeeping and laundry
- Maintain detailed records of client care and progress for supervisor review
- Foster connections with clients through engaging conversations and activities
- Provide medication reminders to ensure adherence to schedules
- Encourage participation in physical and recreational activities
Required Qualifications
- Registered Home Care Aide with a valid TB test
- At least one year of relevant professional experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license
