Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Marysville, California. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjusting the x-ray equipment and determining proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed, preparing examination rooms for patient exams, and positioning patients for imaging exams.
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams, producing diagnostic images, documenting exam information, and reporting important information to the physician.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
