Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our team of technicians in providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve high levels of performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operations of the heating and cooling service department
  • Schedule, direct, and provide technical support for HVAC technicians
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other management to meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Recruit, train, and develop HVAC technicians to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Supervise technicians as they complete equipment repairs, installations, and start-ups
  • Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy
  • Oversee and maintain assigned service vehicles

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years of HVAC service experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • EPA certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of local codes, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict management skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other general software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade school and NATE certifications
