Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for conducting irrigation tasks at designated locations, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work under limited supervision, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality.
• Maintain proper uniform and equipment, ensuring a professional appearance and efficient operation.
• Provide guidance and support to laborers and fellow technicians, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans, ensuring accurate and efficient implementation.
• Repair and maintain various pipe types and sprinkler systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Set up and troubleshoot irrigation control valves, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
• Perform proper flow control adjustments, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure equipment safety and report any issues or concerns, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Work in diverse weather conditions, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Physically handle materials and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of landscaping techniques and tools, with a focus on irrigation systems and water management.
• Expertise in irrigation wiring and troubleshooting, with a focus on efficient and effective operation.
• Understanding of pipe materials and sprinkler selections, with a focus on optimal performance and efficiency.
• Basic grasp of electrical systems and controller operations, with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
• Familiarity with water management and soil issues, with a focus on promoting healthy and sustainable landscapes.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment, with a focus on efficient and effective operation.
• Fundamental computer skills, with a focus on data entry and record-keeping.
• Experience in irrigation and related fields, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required, with a focus on safe and efficient transportation.
