Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $22 to $28 per hour. Please note that the pay range may vary based on experience, education, skills, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machining Duties: Perform skilled machinist duties under limited supervision, working with mills and lathes, and operating complex machines using computer-aided devices.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on machines and related systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Measurement and Quality Control: Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process, ensuring adherence to required standards and specifications.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisory personnel, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of recent working experience in CNC Lathe, with completion of a 2-year technical/trade school in machining a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read engineering blueprints and planning, possess excellent communication skills, strong multitasking ability, and an interest in learning new skills and technologies.
