Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time, contracted Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Child Neurobehavioral Center for Health & Wellness, PC in Augusta, GA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating children with visual processing and orthographic / literacy issues. This will involve assessing children's vision and graphomotor skills, creating treatment plans, and implementing research-based programs such as Handwriting Without Tears, vision rehabilitation measures, and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform occupational therapy and collaborative rehabilitation evaluations with children and adolescents using the BOT, Peabody, and vision therapy measures
  • Provide occupational therapy and dyslexia/vision training
  • Score and write reports and case notes
Collaboration and Support

Collaboration is provided by Dr. Maria E. Gangarosa-Emerson. Additional information is posted at our website. Our practice consists of a Neuropsychologist, a speech language therapist, a Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow, and a neurofeedback technician. Weekly didactic training is incorporated as well as other learning opportunities.
