Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction process of custom homes in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential construction, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of leading with honesty and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction activities and manage personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule with subcontractors and deliveries to maintain project timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to management by monitoring project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Conduct inspections of work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of daily logs and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide project updates.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain safe and productive job sites.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in residential custom home projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, LEED) are a plus.
