Job Summary:

Assess and document speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions, and outcomes. Identify changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters. Review treatment plans and assess individual performances to modify, change, or write new programs. Maintain documentation as required by law, establishment policy, and administrative regulation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
  • Assess and document speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Identify changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters.
  • Review treatment plans and assess individual performances to modify, change, or write new programs.
  • Maintain documentation as required by law, establishment policy, and administrative regulation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Required
  • Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
