Position Overview: The Department of Orthopedic Surgery & Musculoskeletal Science is actively seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon to enhance our Section of Spine Surgery. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery, possess a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, and have specialized training in spinal surgery. Exceptional surgical, clinical, and academic skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications: The applicant must be eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas and will be responsible for taking general orthopedic and spine call.

About the Section: The Section of Spine Surgery is a well-established entity within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Science, boasting a robust and expanding clinical practice. Our team is engaged in multidisciplinary care, addressing a wide spectrum of pediatric and adolescent spinal conditions, including deformities, spondylolysis/listhesis, trauma, tumors, cervical spine issues, disc herniations, and infections. Currently, the pediatric spine program is supported by two full-time surgeons managing a high-volume spine surgery service, benefiting from a large referral network and a strong partnership with the Section of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
