Position Overview:
The role involves the assembly of various filter types within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include tasks such as stapling, applying wraps to pleats, capping, and assembling components like tubes and springs. Additional duties may involve spot welding, seaming, and cutting media or other materials as necessary.

The position also includes applying gaskets and conducting inspections. Responsibilities may extend to tucking, repairing filters, and packaging products. This role is integral to supporting the Corporate Win Strategy.

Second Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 3:20 PM - 1:40 AM (10 hours). Occasional Saturday work from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Parker Hannifin Filtration - Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly wage of $17.75
  • Additional $1.00/hour for 2nd shift differential

Work Environment:
This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Consistent attendance is crucial for this role.
  • Assemble various filter types as required.
  • Conduct first piece inspections on products.
  • May involve spinning and applying adhesives or plastisol to components.
  • May require cutting media, wraps, or other materials as needed.
  • May perform spot welding and seaming on filters or components.
  • Responsible for packing and inspecting products.
  • Complete necessary quality data and product reports.
  • Meet daily performance standards.
  • Minor computer use may be required for daily operations and inventory adjustments.
  • Conduct inventories as required.
  • Must be able to read and understand all relevant procedures.
  • Physical demands include standing, using hands for tasks, pushing and pulling objects, and lifting/moving up to 30 lbs. Occasionally, lifting/moving 30 to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Seek assistance from supervisors to address defects or deficiencies.
  • Contribute to high-performance teams and engage in initiatives that drive positive change.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • May be assigned additional duties as required.
  • Prioritize personal and workplace safety, actively participating in safety reporting and fostering a culture of safety awareness.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with diagrams to ensure compliance with specifications.
