Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or within 4 years of hire.
- Licensure: Must be a registered nurse and must hold an active license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
- Certification: Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred and strongly encouraged.
- Experience: The registered nurse continuously seeks opportunities to enhance his or her own professional nursing practice. Membership in an appropriate professional nursing organization is recommended.
Working Conditions:
- Job requires the ability to work designated shift lengths, including 8 and 12 hours.
- Uses appropriate safety transfer techniques and body mechanics when moving, transporting, etc., of patients or equipment.
- Has the physical stamina to meet the requirements of this job description, including frequent walking, bending, and standing.
- Job requires the use of hands for simple and firm grasping and fine manipulating.
