Recreational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreation activities for patients, providing therapeutic recreation intervention, and ensuring all patients are oriented to recreation therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement recreation activities for patients in accordance with guidelines set by the organization, hospital, and profession.
  • Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload.
  • Orient all patients to recreation therapy and provide hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs.
  • Serve as an educator to patients on community resources.
Qualifications
  • Recreation Therapist Certified (RTC)
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required
  • Experience in Acute Rehab preferred
