Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists

**About the Role**

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting. As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to work with elementary, middle, or high schools, and choose the schedule that suits you best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs, utilizing your expertise to identify areas of concern.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans, presenting them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders involved in student evaluations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators to address speech and language concerns, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on your caseload, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with school staff.
  • Prepare and present reports of student progress to parents, keeping them informed and engaged in their child's education.
  • Organize and manage your student caseload, developing a schedule that meets the needs of each assigned school.
  • Design and develop resource materials for use in speech and language development, enhancing the educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Current Georgia SLP license
  • SLP credential from the Georgia PSC, which oversees licenses for SLPs to practice in school settings
