Job Overview

The individual in this role is tasked with welcoming patrons and facilitating prompt seating arrangements. This position is crucial in ensuring that guests experience a warm and inviting atmosphere in line with Hard Rock International service standards.


Key Responsibilities

- Cultivates an environment that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock International for their dining and entertainment needs; actively engages in building and maintaining guest relationships while mentoring team members to deliver exceptional service.
- Welcomes guests with a friendly demeanor and organizes seating; oversees the ambiance of the dining area.
- Provides comprehensive information regarding all services and amenities available at Hard Rock International to guests.
- Accurately communicates waiting times and manages guest waiting lists or reservations following established protocols.
- In front-of-house settings, greets guests warmly and addresses inquiries before fulfilling requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- May supply clean tableware upon request from patrons.
- Responsible for setting up tables with necessary items such as dishes, linens, and utensils.
- Attends to customer needs, including refilling beverages and condiments.
- Assists wait staff with tray service as required.
- Participates in meetings and completes assigned follow-ups.
- Consistently performs duties with reliability and predictability.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:
(Relevant education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis)

Typically, these skills and abilities are acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience in hosting or customer service roles.

Additional Requirements:
- Must secure and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all relevant licenses and certifications as required by Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

Abilities:
- Present an image of enthusiasm and professionalism while maintaining a polished appearance.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests at all levels.
- Capability to restock necessary materials and retrieve dropped items.
