About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care during labor, obstetrical emergencies, and other obstetric conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and constant monitoring of pregnant patients and their fetuses throughout labor and birth.
  • Assist and educate patients with labor and delivery conditions.
  • Support patients with comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum education.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • ADN Nursing Degree required; BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Current RN nursing license in good standing with the Nevada State licensing board.
  • Minimum of one (1) year post-graduate nursing experience in ICU, NICU, or Med/Surgical preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring required.
