Position Overview:

The Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily activities, which encompass personal care, social engagement, cognitive support, and overall physical well-being. This role promotes resident autonomy, respects individual choices, and upholds dignity through professional interactions.

  • Maintains consistent attendance and addresses any work-related issues with the appropriate personnel.

  • Ensures confidentiality of resident and staff information is upheld.
  • Presents a professional and tidy appearance.
  • Participates in required training sessions and assists in onboarding new staff members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in direct care is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Must meet age requirements as per facility policy and state regulations.
